Restorative yoga is the art of slowing down, relaxing your mind and opening the body through passive stretching. In this class, the instructor will guide you through a series of very gentle yoga postures specifically designed to help rejuvenate and restore the body's natural balance. To enhance the healing effect of the poses, the practice will be accompanied by the live sounds of Tibetan singing bowls. The sound waves of the bowls will help you enter the state of deep relaxation. They are also known to have a positive effect on the nervous system, sleep and memory.
Bolsters, blocks and blankets will be used to assist you in longer holds (5-15 min). Essential Oils (optional) will be offered as an additional therapeutic component to help you balance your emotions, body and mind. Join us and find your inner peace in this busy and fast-paced world.
All levels welcome. Space is limited.
